undsioux7 (553), Cologne, Minnesota, USA Sep 29, 2006 This is a nice easy drinking beer without anything really standing out but just a good solid session beer mhoster56 (34), Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 28, 2006 One of the best marezens I have ever consumed. Pours with a ruddy amber hue, directly indicating it is going to be a solid Oktoberfest beer. The semi sweet malt flavor was nothing short of appealing. Subtle hints of orange citrus are present. This beer is most enjoyable when served around 45 to 48 degrees F. bdjames29 (272), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 27, 2006 Updated: Oct 9, 2006Bottle. This year is the first year I am trying to get into Octobers / Marzens; so I am drinking as many as possible and this has been my favorite thus far. Dark amber color, clear and shiny - nice off white head. Malty brew with a touch of hops on the finish. Clean, refreshing and balanced. A very tasty beer. I’ll come back to this one. perchslayer (1), Auburn, California, USA does not count Sep 25, 2006 I really enjoy the skillful way

to the bride’s boquet wxman (582), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Sep 25, 2006 Pours a bright amber color with a fairly thick white head. Sweet malty, bready aroma. Sweet lightly roasted malt in the flavor along with some maple syrup and hop spiciness. There’s something medicinal in the aftertaste, like the bitterness of aspirin. Pretty good, but far from the best. TomDecapolis (3130), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 23, 2006 Pours a translucent amber with a creamy off white slight lacing head. Aroma of malty grains, light citrus, toasted malts and light hop presence. Flavor was kind of fruity, sweeter malts, some caramel. TheEnemy (422), Chicago, USA Sep 23, 2006 On tap. Pours a clear rich caramel-brown; big white foamy head sits atop and sticks around for a while. Aroma is rich bready, caramel, sweet malt, hint of grassy hops, and a bit of ever lightly toasted grain. Flavor mimics the aroma with the addition of a delightful fruity character. Medium palate with a lingering hint of hop bitterness. A fine go-to Festbier. alcamp99 (32), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 22, 2006 Hoppy aroma; dark amber color; medium bodied with hint of molasses with the bitter hops
