| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 16, 2009 Pours to a small, golden head with an amber body. Has slight hint of barley perhaps. Goes down smooth and doesn’t leave any unpleasant aftertaste. Another good German brew. Plamadude30k (122), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2009 Pours a nice golden amber with a white, quickly fading head. The aroma is truly intriguing, grass, hops, a little toffee, and some light fruits. The flavor is rather similar, if perhaps a little earthy. Mostly, this beer surprised me, especially in the nose, and as I’m not often surprised, that won this beer some points.
