Pours with a good head that evaporates fairly quickly. Somewhat sweet but well balanced and very drinkable. Underwhelming aroma. Poured from a bottle in Illinois.

A nice copper body with a good head, evaporated fairly quicly. A sweet taste of caramel with a great finish. I have found it to be much better off tap than out of a bottle. A great beer with wiener schnitzel, or brautwurst.

Draft @ Sommerfest. Pours a clear amber with a good off white head. Has a decent aroma of wseet malts with a touch of hops and pepper. Has an ejoyable flavor. Good balance. Not real strong but very refreshing. Has a medium body. Good carbonation. A pretty solid finish with a good aftertaste. This is a real good beer.

on tap at American Flatbread. The waittress gave me this since their own marzen had kicked. Deep reddish amber in color with a lasting off white head- very nice appearance. Aroma of toasted malts- almost a hint of roast, caramel, fresh bread, noble hops. Taste is balanced very well: caramel, toasted malts, light molasses sweetness with some nice noble hop flavor and bitterness. Very clean and well rounded. Medium bodied, I enjoyed this more than alot of other marzens I’ve had.

Draught at Sharkeys, Blacksburg VA. Light amber color. Light malty aroma. Good balance, very smooth and crisp. Sweet malty flavor with some molasses notes. Great Oktoberfest.

On Tap at Brau Haus a local German bar in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Amber in color, a great tasting beer, one of my favorites!

Nice Marzen. Bright amber, not quite orange, in color. Nicely balanced, medium bodied, and sweetness that you’re looking for in a Marzen. Very drinkable.
