Fairly good for a marzen style. Pours out a ruddy brown with a respectable tan head. Aroma is lightly sweet. Taste is malty sweet, a bit of spice, and a touch yeasty. Not bad but it starts to get too sweet for me towards the end. I doubt I could have more than one or two of these beers and this style is supposed to be one of the more sessionable ones. Regardless, not bad at all in limited quantities.

Jan 6, 2010 On tap at yard house ch. Poured an amber-orange; clear with an off white head. Aroma of caramel, brea and fruit. Soft and easy to drink. Bready and fruity. A light earthy bitterness in the finish. Ok overall.

Jan 2, 2010 12 oz. bottle. - Nice malty aroma with some hops. Carmal and other roasted malts were well balanced wtih the hops; sweet malty finish. Dark amber with white head faded fast. nice bittering finish.

Jan 1, 2010 clear copper with a wispy quickly diminishing white head. aroma is caramel light and light graininess. flavor is fairly flat, with nothing really standing out. it drinks well enough but there is really not much too it.

Dec 28, 2009 A dark golden almost amber beer with a white head. Aroma is hoppy and malty. Taste is rich malty and sweet, notes of hops and roasted malt. Very well balanced. Drinkable but tasteful.

Dec 18, 2009 Pours dark amber with a nice off white head. The aroma is very dry and dusty. Pilsner like, really. The flavor is sweeter with a little caramel and spice to balance out the dusty hop finish. A very pleasant and drinkable oktoberfest.

Dec 7, 2009 Pours dark amber small white head.Average looking beer very transluscent.This beer is a treat this time of year medium body with great malt and caramel flavors.
