Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

12 oz green bottle picked up at the Coop tonight poured into slim hefe glass. 2 finger head drops leaving spotty lacing.. crystal clear lite amber brew. Very clean toasted malts dominate the aroma.. not much else to talk about here. Toasted malts again are in the front.. sorta a husky note.. toasted bread with just a touch of earthy hoppiness... a bit creamy with a lite/medium body.

Pours deep, clear amber with thin head. Aroma of bread and taste of caramel. Finish is clean and cleansing. This is highly drinkable in quantity and my go-to for the style.

12 oz. bottle. Nose of toasted caramel, hay and yeast. The flavor is rich and bready with a touch of toffee and honey. Just enough bitterness to keep the sweetness in check. Great balance. Delicious and drinkable. Overall, an excellent and authentic Oktoberfest brew.

Clear, light amber color with medium off-white head. Strong aroma of malt and yeast bread. Flavor is crisp with a slightly bitter finish.

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear amber brown, smooth one-finger ivory head, low sheets of lace. Aroma is appealing malt. Taste is edgy caramel malt that blooms as it moves to the palate, then it turns to carbonation for balance in the finish. A basic, but delicious oktoberfest, solid in all aspects.

12 oz bottle pours a amber/brown color with a small white head. Aromas of light caramel, yeasty bread, light floral. Light bodied, a nice representation of this style

Rated from notes taken 2 Sep 2011 -- Drank at an Oktoberfest beer tasting. This beer was my second favorite behind Paulaner. Good malty fall brew.

Poured into a pint glass out of a growler. Pours a clear light copper with a thin half-finger white head. Pretty average head retention and lacing. Nothing outstanding but fairly respectable. Aroms has some toasted caramel mixed with hay and grass. The hope do come through but are kept in check by the malt. Maybe a touch of honey as well. The flavor really brings together the malt and hops with each being very balanced. It starts out with some toffee and honey perfectly mixed with grassy hops. Mild sweetness throughout but it is appropriate for the style. Light bitterness is enough to keep with sweetness in check and makes this quite drinkable. Overall, a respectable oktoberfest and probably one of the better ones available in the States. Pretty readily available and worth picking up.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a medium sized white head. Malt and sweetness on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet caramel and malt. Not much going on. Soft caramel and light bitterness on the finish.
