COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the German version of the beer, described by Jackson in the 2000 Pocket Beer Book as "much paler (than Oktoberfest-Marzen in the US), golden, albeit still with a creamy aroma and pleasant malt accent."

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with a good deal of bitter, hoppy notes. Mildly sweet, estery and skunky finish. An OK Oktoberfestbier but nothing really special.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 Old rating, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Klar, pilsnerfarga. Sødmerik maltprega lukt, caramell, litt humle. Lett sødmerik "syrlig" smak, lys malt, caramell, litt humle og gras. Middels bitterhet og lengde. Grei.

Thanks Nikola for this! Familia, Jesolo. Dull golden body with a medium sized white head. Dust and soap in the malty aroma, hmm. Grainy malty taste, quite malty, dog food-like, vague herbal notes, dust. Humm, I wasn’t impressed, though I might rerate it.
