Pours very dark brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma is toffee, biscuit and roasted malt. Rich thick sweet flavor with roast malt and caramel and also some raisin. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Green bottle does seem to affect the taste.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, dark, amber-brown color with a creamy off-white average head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves excellent lacing. Aroma is a rich malty caramel sweetness. Flavor is caramel, molasses, and some dark fruit. Medium bodied. Slightly warming finish.

Dark brownish red pour with a beige head that doesn’t last as long as you’d like. Nose of sweet caramel, bakery, cookie dough, and malt. Thick syrupy mouth feel. Roasted grains with a bit of hops on the palate. More hops than most bocks. Some nuttyness, but could use some more, much more. Aftertaste is more bitter than most bocks.

A very good Doppelbock. Sweet and very smooth caramel flavor dominates the flavor profile. Full and somewhat creamy mouthfeel, nourishing and quite filling. Finishes clean with no off flavors.

From the tap poured a dark brown color with a good amount of head. Nice strong sweet malty flavor with a lasting finish.
