The green bottle made me nervous, but no skunk was there. Poured deep reddish color with nice head and lacing that clung to the glass throughout my drinking endeavor. Mouthfeel was slightly carbonated, but smooth. Taste was really good, but not as full, rich or complex as Celebrator or Maximator...but not sickly sweet as some of the "low end" dopples are. Well done. rodneykm (109), Westminster, South Carolina, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Clear russet appearance with a medium size, off white head and little lacing. Sweet aroma, with dark fruit, caramel and a hint of soy sauce. Earthy, roasted malt flavor accompanied by dark fruits like plums, figs and raisins. Low keyed hop presence. Alcohol rocks the taste buds for awhile. Full bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel with a long lasting, semi-sweet finish. zappafan99 (463), Ascension Island

Surly darkness with minimal light filtering through. Looks: Cherry darkness in direct light. Taste: The hops still has a presence with all the malt and roasted goodness going on. asedzie (457), San Francisco, California, USA
