Commercial Description:
Bottom fermented pilsner style beer. Very elegant, pale in color, dry and hoppy. Its crisp clean taste is due to the extra fine Bavarian hops.

not a bad pils at all, all the right things going on, just lacking memorability, ambition, adventurousness of any sort - you get the feeling these guys sometimes confuse complacency with tradition. when i say "these guys" i mean germany in general. anyway it’s perfectly drinkable. on the soft, malty side of things, which combined with a bit of diacetyl gives it a czech feel. but the hops are all minty, sagey hallertau, leafy and mild and gently drying. maybe lacking a bit of crispness and acidity to be really moreish.

Pale gold. Compact foam. Fresh and fizzy. Delicate aroma with a very balanced bitter however.

Bottled. Pale gold with gassed head. Yeasty dry pils with a reasonable hoppiness and crisp malt. Some taste through the CO2, just a little ligtweight.

Pours a light golden with a rather small head. Nice grassy noble hop aroma. Innitial taste is hoppy with a nice sweetness. Firm body. Finnish is slightly bitter with a fair amount of diacetyl. A nice pairing with the grilled hebi I was enjoying.

Crystal clear gold and a head that didn’t die out on me, it maintained through out the drink. Good malt character with a sour grass flavor and some sweet bread or doughness about it. Is fairly decent but only something i’d drink again as a last resort.

A solid pils. Not as clean as I would like to see but that might be due to improper storage on the part of the retailer. Really, I’d like to try this on tap. There may well be a great beer lurking in there somewhere.
