Bottle. Pours a golden yellow. Aroma of noble hops with with slight caramel. Well balanced noble hop taste.

Very bright, almost clear yellow body, modest carbonation and huge solid head. Aroma is almost entirely hops, some alcohol. Taste is smooth with a ghostly hoppy aftertaste, easy to drink but there’s not much there. Still if you like your beer to be easy-going, this is okay.

2010-07-04. Very pale yellow, small white head. 2+ Dilute grainy pale malts in aroma foreshadow a similar character in the flavour. Thin grainy pale malt, light lemony-cidery hints. Average to light palate. Poor, watery. On tap at Seattle International Beer Festival

On tap at Garda Lake, Italy. Bright yellow with medium head. Nose is corny and malty. Nice spicy taste to it. Quite enjoyable.

Classica ma godibilissima pils. Al naso è un pò piatta con lievissimi sentori di lievito e frumento. In bocca è molto morbida ed equilibrata ed è bevibilissima.

[3112-20100704] Sample. Not much aroma, a little grassy yeast straw aroma. Clear, yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy corn yeast aroma has a bit of straw. Light body. Not very interesting but not bad either.

Pils--1998 16.9 oz. Bottle. 5.00% ABV. (4.0 / 5.0) Clear very light white straw golden color. Big aromatic head that leaves nice lace. Light hop floral profile and flavorful clean crisp malt body. Finishes clean smooth and satisfying. Nice. Sampled 3/31/1999.
Premium Pils--1999 16.9 oz. Bottle. 5.00% ABV. (4.0 / 5.0) Clear bright straw golden color. Exudes Bavarian Saaz hop aroma. Delightful crisp smooth slightly sweet refreshing malt body with good texture. Clean finish with hint of hop spice. Sampled 8/3/1999.
Spaten Premium--2000 12 oz. Bottle. 5.50% ABV. (4.0 / 5.0) Green bottle. Very clear light yellow color. Medium light Saaz front. Clean crisply flavored body. Nice head and lace. Flavorful rich lightly sweet body with mild Bavarian twist. Mild buttery clean hop end. Sampled 8/13/2000.

On tap; good and solid, yet mild, very easy drinking german pilsner. A little hoppy but great beer on a hot day
