Commercial Description:
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness. Also known as Spaten Münchner Hell and is sold under that name in Germany.

Bottle. Grassy, hoppy and vanilla notes. Pours a clear amber beer with a large white head and some carbonation. Taste is light, hoppy and typical of a lager/helles. Quite enjoyable.

This is a German beer and it tastes like one. The same characteristic bite that many other German brew have, this one does too. I honestly do not find it much different in taste that Beck’s or some of the other German lagers.
