It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and straw. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of malt, bread, fruit and straw. The finish is dry, slightly bitter.

Bottle, picked up at pivoteka in pilsen.surprisingly pale shade of golden with only a faint head; grainy aroma with little hop presence, light texture and some vanilla malt lingering in the aftertaste. Pretty dull beer for something with an imposing name

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Lightly spiced on the nose, but mostly it’s pale malts and fruityness. Grassy and slightly piney too. Dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation, medium bodied. Pale malts, piney and grassy hops, bitterness and a faint spiced hints in the flavor. A quite decent and quenching beer that is a bit too boring to be interesting. 111125

Im Geruch weich-hopfig mit süßen Tönen. Hopfiger Antrunk mit mittelstarker Herbe. Danach aromatischer. Im Abgang dann malzwürzig. Grundsolides Bier.Test vom 19.5.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big foamy and minimal off-white head. Malty and citrus-fruity and spicy hoppy aroma. Bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Wonderful balance between a solid malty body and fruity aroma hops; almost dry, well-rounded bitter-sweet finish with spicy and slightly fruity hops. That´s a Festbier 08.IX.09
