No lightweight, Big Daddy I.P.A. tips the scales with a huge hop flavor and a dry, clean finish that leaves the scene without a trace.

Not the freshest bottle but still easy to identify the type of beer this is, with balanced hops, clean fermentation, pale but prominent malt backup. Focus on drinkability and it works fairly well. It lost hop appeal but I still enjoyed it. (33cl bottle from SpeciaalBierPakket Leiden)

12 ouncer from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Even though he had already rated it. clear and the color of lighter honey. A big fluffy off white head falls unevenly. Even my "pine challenged" nose smells pine in here. Big hops in the flavor. Resinous pine, floral, and bitter grapefruit. More citrus tries to pop through but is quickly covered up by that grapefruit. This is almost as flavorful as a double.

On tap at CBB Bud, Osaka. A dark golden, almost clear. A classic IPA aroma, plenty of citrus and pine hop, balanced out by a nice malt sweetness, light caramel. Taste follows suit, a fine quenching flavour with nice pine and peach notes, the sweetened malt gets leveled out by a bitter dry finish. Very drinkable, nicely done all round.

35cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, resin, classic sweet (but not overly so) American IPA. Flavour is likewise, nice sweet and fruity, but also crisp and citrusy. Light bodied, nice bitter finish. Really liked it.
