No lightweight, Big Daddy I.P.A. tips the scales with a huge hop flavor and a dry, clean finish that leaves the scene without a trace.

Absolutely my favorite IPA. Hoppy, crisp, aromatic, refreshing. Pairs great with a turkey sandwich on rye. Plus I love their artwork! Not always easy to find in my area but always a nice surprise when i do. Floral, citrus, resin

650ml brown bottle. A bit unclear, yellow colour, thick white foam. Big bands of lace in the glass. Nose has citrusy hops and some pine. Taste has some caramel, grain, grapefruit. Dryish end with some lingering citrus notes. Pretty clean and drinkable IPA.

Not as bitter as it could have been, and it finish is more dry than it mightn’t need to be. But it pours great, looks great and drinks really well. Aroma is lightly grass, and there are citrus things in this but I can’t pick anything in particular. But a nice beer for an IPA and one that a lot of people would get on with.

Good, but nothing special. Great nose, good looks, and a fine flavor (heavy on the pine, which is good by me). Clearly a well-crafted west coast IPA, but with so many standouts in the category, this one doesn't rise above... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Fairly high carbonation. Clear, golden color. Nice hoppy aroma. Nice taste up front, but the aftertaste is pretty piney, and lingering bitterness. Not bad, but not my favorite.

On tap on blind tiger. Poured out clear pale yellow. Aroma of grapefruit and honey. Taste is all citra with some dry hopping too.

Bottled February 18, 2014.
Appearance: Clear vibrant and sparkling amber body with a dense and foamy white head.
Aroma: The aroma is mild and clean with a prominent orange juice aroma. A touch of malts peaks through, a tad bready with a light sweetness to it.
Taste: The flavor has a big grapefruit flavor that runs through it, a bit of grassiness and by the end a touch of caramel. This has a rather big bitterness of grapefruit with a dry finish that oddly reminds me of dry oak chips.
Palate: Light and crisp, highly carbonated.
Overall: I like the crispness of this, but the flavor is very dry and the dryness lingers like the desert. If you’re a fan of a grapefruit heavy dry IPA then this is for you.

Bottled on 02/08/14. Nose is folded citrus, lightly exotic fruit, green hop dust with almost whole lupulin, all folded into weak caramel. Pours clear golden with a rocky cream head. Taste lightly sweet and bitterness medium, very green hops as if they’d just been added 15 seconds ago, with a lot of grassy raw dry hopping character. Lightly spicy with huge resin deposits, citrus peels and zests, overall orange down the middle with weak malts. Medium body with watery edges and some alcohol seepage. Enjoyed, but it’s very atypical and gamey, very raw and homebrewy, hard to recommend to others.

From bottle to glass. Pine and resin with a biscuit malt. Clear, orange with a full white head and great lacing. Taste is slight resin and pine. Some orange on the background. Bready malt on the last half. Moderate bitterness with a harsh bitterness in the second stages. Finishes dry.

Bomber thanks to michaelinwa. Pours a hazy gold color with a small foamy head that fades to a bubbly ring. Aroma is very grassy with some citrus and light pine hops. Tastes pretty crisp with sharp bitterness. I would think this is an IPL in a blind taste. Lots grass and good amount of pine. Light citrus rinds in the finish. Decent but a bit hard to drink. The sharp bitterness and high carb hurts it a bit.
