No lightweight, Big Daddy I.P.A. tips the scales with a huge hop flavor and a dry, clean finish that leaves the scene without a trace.

Pours a golden color out of a 12oz bottle with long lasting head. I like my IPAs with slighter darker appearance but what this beer lacks in color it makes up for in aroma. The hops kick you in the face with citrus notes and a touch of musk. The flavor is wonderfully dry and bitter. It could use a touch more malt but overall a great beer with a great label.

Pours a nice amber color. Aromas of floral/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors in the middle with malts and a spicy finish.

Good beer, but it was unfortunately tasted immediately after a Two-Hearted, so this definitely came out on the short end of the stick. Anyway, this is a tasty, borderline session IPA with a delightful hop profile, it just comes up short in the boldness department.

(02.04.06) 12 oz brown bottle purchased from RFD Washington, Washington, D.C. Clear yellow hued ale having a small white head. No discernable carbonation. Hoppy aroma. Medium bodied ale that starts dry with tiny malt sweetness. Light hop flavor that dissipates quickly in the middle. Finishes dry with light hop bitterness. A good drinkable IPA.

From a distinctive painted 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a "Who’s Your Daddy?! 004" on the back label. Made a good appearance, poured a semi-hazing pale golden with a large foamy, almost cake-like white head that leaves a lot of ringed sticking. Had a big citrus hop aroma with traces of floral hoppiness. Good carbonation and a smooth medium bodied mouth feel, good drinkability. Taste was also a big citrus hoppy, a mild hop bitterness, a little floral, balanced by a underlining sweet maltiness, slight alcohol presence in the palate and a dry hoppy finish.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy orange pour with a thin and lasting white head. Light floral and hop aroma with the slightest sweet hint. The taste starts with a sweet and floral flavor that goes to a nice and bitter hoppy middle and a bitter hop finish. A little on the thin side, but otherwise good.

This was an okay IPA, not all that hoppy. Pretty average all around IPA style, good, but not great.

Big thanks to elnadeau for this gift, I really enjoyed this strongly aromatic IPA. Lots of aromatic hops in the nose and a pleasant (but fairly strong) bitterness on the mouth. Mouthfeel is medium/light, pour is a golden with a moderate fluffy head. Quite a nice ipa.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 Not much aroma for an IPA. Slightly citrucy. Flavor is reminiscent of Stone IPA but less hoppy and more watery. Still pretty good.
