3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light yellowish golden color with a small white head. Aroma is centered on hops and pine needles. Flavor has that ’West Coast IPA’ flavor to it centering on hops, citrus, and pine needles. Above average ipa.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours golden yellow with billowing light head. Nose is hoppy and citrusy. Flavor continues with cirtus character and maintains a smooth mouthfeel. Very clean finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A solid, standard IPA. Long-lasting, foamy head atop golden leaning toward orange body. Aroma of grapefruit and orange. Flavor also filled with citrus especially grapefruit. Light on the bitterness. Clean, crisp finish with no lingering bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dec. 19, 2005; 12 oz. bottle: I like this brew -- and brewery -- a lot. Citrusy, piney and hoppy -- but remarkably light in both color and texture. It may take some liberties with the style, but this is an IPA I wouldn’t mind drinking all summer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured light golden with a thin white head. Aroma had citrus, graitfruit, casade hops and a bit of peach. Taste was more sweet then hoppy. Good, but I’ve had many better IPAS.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Straw colored pour with little head. Interesting aroma of peach jelly and spicy alcohol. Some citrusy fruits as well. The body is a bit thin, with quite lackluster bitterness. The sweet and bready malts are quite good though, cradling the juicy hops nicely. Not enough oomph to compete with ’bigger’ IPAs, but a very nice, and unusual, pale ale none-the-less.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - thanks to tupalev. Light golden-orange colour - too light for the style, IMO. Nice aroma with citric, piney hops in the forefront with a bit of bready malt in the background. Flavour is quite hoppy as expected, with some soapiness, and a lingering bitter finish. Not unpleasant, but I’ve had many better west coast PAs.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle. pours a dull looking light golden-orange with a large frothy white head. aroma is nice - soapy grapefruit hops, spruce, and soft bread. big, resiny, chewy hops are the prevalent flavours - certainly one dimensional in that regard. long piney body all the way through. hop heads delight!

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Floral, lavender, soapy, grapefruit, orange tones to the hops in the aroma with just a waft of vanilla oalso apparent. Hazy, golden-copper coloured body with a low white head that recedes rapidly to partial cover. Very vegetal flavour is all hops with little body and very subdued malt character. Medium body with strong, pointy carbonation. Bottle (trade, Mar-05) sampled with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. Thanks, DocLock!

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (12oz). Poured bubbly pale gold with a small fizzy white head. Mild aroma of mild oily hops, vague somewhat roasty-sweet malt, off-dry Riesling, loam - pretty mild for an IPA. Taste is pretty disappointing - hint of grainy hops, sort of sweet; thin body, mouthfeel like diluted Perrier water. Pretty sad effort, considering how much I liked their other brews.
