3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This poured out a hazy golden yellow with about a half-inch of white rocky foam atop the body. The head quickly falls to a cap of bubbles and leave sparse lacing around the glass. The aroma is very hoppy with citric hops being the main ingredient and floral and earthy hops coming up as well. No traces of malt were detected in the aroma at all. A strong citric hop flavor hits you tongue as soon as you start to sip this and the hoppy bitterness doesn’t stop even after you swallow. Floral hops also come out quite strong making for an all around hop assault. The after taste is a lingering bitter one that is quite puckering. The body is medium and has a creamy mouthfeel. Drinkability is good for those how like a very hoppy IPA as I do. This is a good IPA that I would recommend to anyone of the hophead persuasion.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy, banana-gold color, slim, diminshing white head above.
Aromasoft, citrus and pine, somewhat soapy, pineapple and peach, rather quiet, but still possesses a certain character.
fruity flavor is tops on the palate, and hop bitterness plays for a bit, but it’s a softshoe affair here, very mild, very minor. Body is medium, and the finish is unimpressive, slips away assuredly, leaves nothing memorable behind.
Citric zest continues to briefly bite with every new sip, but it’s not enough to make a real impression. Very drinkable, to be sure, but lacking in any extra anything that would make this a stand-out IPA.
Not bad, of course, but nothing much.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy, orange appearance with a small head. Hoppy, resinous aroma with some citrus. Taste was on the thin side, light-to-medium bodied, lively carbonation. Flavor was citrusy (lemon) and well hopped. Dry, short lived finish.

Bottle. Damn, very citrus aroma. Sweet nose with lots of orange notes and some grapefruit notes sprinkled here and there. Smells yummy. Mildly hazy blonde/honey color with a small qucikly dissipating white head. Start is rather sweet turning very orangey citrusy to finish. Hops are more subdued than expected. Slightly thin, and very orangey IPA. I kinda like this guy. Label says "Who’s your daddy?! 003". Any insight on this?

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy gold color, medium white head. Big hops in the aroma, spicy, citrusy, and a little piney. Light malt as well. Flavor is nicely balanced, some earthy malt followed by a good dose of hops, but not as much as the aroma would lead you to believe. Medium bodied, smoother, short finish. Very good.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Decent head which reduces to a thin foam with some impresive lacing. Big juicy hops aroma with spruce, flowers and a nice bready malt. Color is a medium golden orange. Wow interesting flavor. Major flavor of honey roasted peanuts. I am salivating just thinking about them. YUMMY. Very nutty. Not as much hops presence but a decent malt backbone to balance it out. Finish has a nice bitterness but not a puckering bitterness. Very soft in the mouth. A good, mellow IPA.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2005 Light in color. Pure, oily, raw and invigorating hop aroma calms my senses, allows me to relax and interpret what I am exactly smelling. Dripping honey covered pine needles. Orange. Other fruits. The hops are undeniably huge and fairly shocking but the sweet, fruity and sugary malt presence is what makes this a pretty delicious India Pale Ale.
