3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy yellow-orange with a pillowy medium off-white head. Very citrusy, spritzy, almost sweet aroma with minimal pine. Flavor is likewise citrusy and fruity, somewhat sweet, with a creamy but thin body. Pine pokes through the citrus on occasion. Malt is somewhat bready/toasty. Much better than their lame APA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Orange in color. Great hop aroma, citrusy. Taste is similar to the smell. Good overall balance. Has enough hops in flavor and bitterness but not over the top. Highly recommended to try.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice cloudy light golden color. Faint hop, citrus aroma. Big bold hop flavor makes it very quaffable. Finish is clean and dry. Not bold but a satisfying IPA.

Draught at Jack’s sucker beer bar, S.F., CA. 05.23.04 Didn’t labor over this beer, just a quick sniff and sip. Reminds of DFH 60 Min. Pine sap hoppiness; quick, but chewy finish...lots of body but not lingering. Another California IPA. Good, and more balanced than many; still hop heavy, even for an IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hops is all that’s needed to describe this one. This golden colored IPA is all hops and citrus in the nose. Immediatly upon hitting the tongue the hops go to work. Not too overpowering and fairly light bodied. Good stuff from start to finish, and long afterwards.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nothing special. Pours amber with foamy white head. Hoppy aroma, grapefruit. Clean mouthfeel but thin. Flavor was robust hops. Not a bad beer but nothing I’d look for again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light hazy gold, lasting creamy white head. Nice west coast IPA aroma of bitter grapefruit, sticky sweet pine, apricot, and dough. Bitter blasts of grapefruit rind, orange peel, resiny, hints of caramel and toffee. Not completely balanced by the malt, but who cares...it’s an IPA right? This is for hopheads at heart. Medium bodied, bitter dry finish. Good stuff!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap, Toronado, San Francisco. A typical USIPA, perhaps not as intense. Lemon and lychee. Nice, soft, refreshing, bitter session ale. Not really assertive or anything, juslt light and well balanced.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy amber in color with a small white head. Hoppy, orange, floral smells. The lable states, ’leaves the scene without a trace’, which it did. I prefer more of a bitter aftertaste. Struck me as having a light body for an IPA.
