No lightweight, Big Daddy I.P.A. tips the scales with a huge hop flavor and a dry, clean finish that leaves the scene without a trace.

Hazy golden IPA with a thick beaten egg white head, like the scum on top of the fermentor. Yummy floral hops and citrus in aroma. Good malt base, lightly sweet mingling perfectly with the grapefruits and bitterness, pine finish. Lighter but decent bodied IPA, very pleasant. Bought in June 2004, in San Francisco. Tasted on Jan. 6, 2005.

Very light gold color with a large white head. Aroma of fresh citrus hops and some bread backing it up. The tast eis bready and balanced with some grapefruit. A little bit of spice in the finish. A thin and light mouthfeel. Normally I woudl dock an IPA for that, but it is well done in this one. This is a solid and well made brew.

Hazy peach color with massive bubble bath-like head. Lemon-zesty aroma. Flavor is flat ... musty and dirty, but without any real body.

Bottle. Golden orange, slight haze, explosive and rocky head. Citrus and floral aroma. Lively carbonation, lighter than typical body, balanced and spicy hops, hints of peaches. A modest yet refreshing IPA.

Looks worse than it taste, though the taste was waterdown. Easy to drink, easy to forgert, with general hoopy characteristics. The bottle, though, has eyeballs on the top that follow you where ever you go.

Pours a cloudy, pale butterscotch color with a rocky whit head. This beer is all hops. Definately needs a litttle more of a malt backbone here. A great ipa for all major hopsters out there.

This poured out a hazy golden yellow with about a half-inch of white rocky foam atop the body. The head quickly falls to a cap of bubbles and leave sparse lacing around the glass. The aroma is very hoppy with citric hops being the main ingredient and floral and earthy hops coming up as well. No traces of malt were detected in the aroma at all. A strong citric hop flavor hits you tongue as soon as you start to sip this and the hoppy bitterness doesn’t stop even after you swallow. Floral hops also come out quite strong making for an all around hop assault. The after taste is a lingering bitter one that is quite puckering. The body is medium and has a creamy mouthfeel. Drinkability is good for those how like a very hoppy IPA as I do. This is a good IPA that I would recommend to anyone of the hophead persuasion.

Slightly hazy, banana-gold color, slim, diminshing white head above. Aromasoft, citrus and pine, somewhat soapy, pineapple and peach, rather quiet, but still possesses a certain character. fruity flavor is tops on the palate, and hop bitterness plays for a bit, but it’s a softshoe affair here, very mild, very minor. Body is medium, and the finish is unimpressive, slips away assuredly, leaves nothing memorable behind. Citric zest continues to briefly bite with every new sip, but it’s not enough to make a real impression. Very drinkable, to be sure, but lacking in any extra anything that would make this a stand-out IPA. Not bad, of course, but nothing much.

Light yellow orange color, faint malt hop aroma , smooth hop citrus taste, no malt to be found, bitterness finishes the taste. Somewhat thin nice but wouldnt make my top10 IPA’s list

Hazy, orange appearance with a small head. Hoppy, resinous aroma with some citrus. Taste was on the thin side, light-to-medium bodied, lively carbonation. Flavor was citrusy (lemon) and well hopped. Dry, short lived finish.
