jde123 (704), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 11, 2008 Tap, poured a light amber color, very clear, not cloudy at all, which made me somewhat suspicious that the wait staff had again screwed up my order. However, the aroma was extremely hoppy, as was the sweet somewhat biting flavor. A great IPA on a warm day in the sun, I ordered two, I liked it so much.
Zinister (876), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 22, 2008 Thanks to bockyhorsey for this bottle. Bright amber color with small head. Typcial citrus and fruit hop nose. Flavor is rich with grapefruit, sweet malt and tropical fruit flavors. Nice finish and good beer. plovmand (525), Helsinge, Denmark Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured clear golden amber with a medium white head. NIce citric fruity aroma with grassy notes. Flavour is citric as well but with peaches and mango notes. A very refreshing IPA. RunDWP (152), San Jose, California, USA Aug 18, 2008 Updated: Aug 26, 2008From a bottle. Grapefruity, tropical fruit aroma. Flavor is a great combination of some sweet malt, grapefruit and tropical fruits (do I taste pineapple?), and hop bitterness. Lots of sheeting action on the glass. Really like flavor complexity, balance and restraint with the hops. JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Aug 18, 2008 Thanks to cloudskipper for this one. Pale golden-orange brew with a thick fluffy white head. Very sticky head that lasts and lasts. Aroma is beautiful with rich sweet tropical citrus and mango. Grapefruity with a lightly zesty spiciness. A kiss of black pepper as well. Really nice, aromatic sweetness. Papaya and loads of tropical fruitiness. Really tasty IPA. jonno (151), Japan Aug 15, 2008 A very dependable brew. Had on tap at trash zone. Nothing majorly impressive, but enjoyable none the less
