3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 thetmaxx (662) - West Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 23, 2011Poured into a 12oz glass. Colour is light golden and clear with a thick white head. Aroma is very strong hops. Flavour starts out hoppy, but kind of watery. Mouth feel is light bodied with lively carbonation. Overall this is a great IPA.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scipio (488) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Pours a clear golden with a short lived white head. Aroma has grapefruit, pine, caramel, and orange. It is more tropical than anything. The taste continues along this tropical theme. It is more subtle in the pine and hoppy flavors that are usually common in this style. Lots of grapefruit, orange, mango, and melon. Caramel undertones. Aftertaste is rather short, with orange and grapefruit. Medium bodied, pretty smooth in the texture. This one is alright. There isn’t anything wrong here, just nothing very special.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mnmike (606) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Lacing is big time on this beer. I wouldn’t call the hop flavor as HUGE as advertised.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Hopped_Silly (235) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
12oz bottled on 2/27/13. Mild, honeyed malt aromas dominate the nose, with subtle florals and orange citrus aromas in the background. This bottle doesn't seem fresh. The palate displays plenty of hop flavor and bitterness. Orange citrus and florals flavors drive the finish. Bitterness is this beers strong point. Overall though, I'm having a hard time really enjoying this beer. There are to many other superior IPA's on the market, leading me to believe this is simply an average, overpriced IPA. Won't buy again.

Pours a bright golden color with a pillowy white head that hangs in there for a spell.
Nose is a gentle bouquet of hop and sweet raisins.
Flavor is predominately bright hoppy bitterness, with an undercurrent of sweet maltiness. Very nice!
Medium body, lively carbonation.
Tasty beer snacks, baby!

Fresh bottle. Pours deep gold with a persistent 1/2 inch of white head with thick lacing. Big piney, grassy, citrusy, aroma and same with the taste. Real refreshing, relatively light weight full flavored beer.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 allfreej (506) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 20, 2013
Bottled.
Bright amber pour with a really nice pillowy white head. Great lacing.
The nose is citrus and tropical fruit with a distinct caramel malt note.
Flavor is resin, citrus (grapefruit), and mango. Nice caramel malt backbone. Great finish--bitter without astringency.
Medium full mouthfeel. Nicely carbonated.
A really great IPA. Wish they distributed back home in Louisville.

I had this after an Ass Kisser double IPA. This was a good brew but not as good as my previous beer.
