4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
one of my absolute favorite beers. its quite clear to me that i know less about beer than most posters here, but even a neophyte like me could catch the big whiff of hops in this beer. great finish, one of my favorite IPAs.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Speakeasy Big Daddy IPA on tap at Marciero. A golden orange with a filmy head that lingered, a nice pour. The beer has a citrus/tropical fruit aroma with some herbal or slightly floral hop notes. That is the nose I like, the taste is much simpler: earthy pine & citrus followed by fruity notes that end with a bit of an ascerbic dry finish. A solid well-made IPA.

Big flavor disappears rather quickly...nice flavor...like long tail unfiltered ipa without the linger. Would have again.

Bottled. Pours a clear darker yellow with a thick dark yellow/ cream head; decent retention with some lacing. The aroma is quite hoppy, but overall mild. The taste is medium bodied, light on the tongue and very hoppy. A good beer if in the mood for hop.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fresh bottle that showed bright citrus, grapefruit pith, orange peel, and lemon zest along with mild evergreen and black pepper. Nice 14 karat pour with a moderate ivory crown. Love the bottles and a nice beer lies within. Not world-class but a solid example of the style.
