No lightweight, Big Daddy I.P.A. tips the scales with a huge hop flavor and a dry, clean finish that leaves the scene without a trace.

This is a typical IPA and I have no idea what else to say about it. And repeat.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a bright Amber orange with a moderate rocky beige. Nice lacing. Piney hop nose with grapefruit notes. Nice toasted caramel maltiness is balanced by the pine and grapefruit spicy hops. Some tropical fruit notes in mid taste. Finish is dry and complex. A very good West Coast IPA.

Clear golden colour with a small off-white head. Mild fruity hops and mild sweetness in the aroma. Fruity and piney hops, moderate bitterness and malt in the flavour. Balanced and tasty.

At Ritz in Half Moon Bay from draft. Pours a golden color, lighter than typical IPA. Citrus, pine and some hops on the finish. Solid IPA in a great location ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance was hazy orangish gold with creamy diminishing off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are citrus fruits, sweet caramel malts with hints of pine and herbal wood. Taste are grapefruit, orange, lemon upfront then malty middle backbone. The woody, tobacco, leathery, pine sticky finish. Palate was soft smooth CO2 with medium body, then a lasting herbal woody citrusy finish. Overall a solid west coast IPA, needs a touch less wood finish for me.

A nice heavy IPA with tons of grapefruit and lighter piney resin notes. Sweet caramel and biscuity malts that jbalance the hops well. Nice and crisp, bitter hop content with juicy fruits and sweet honey notes. A nice heavy hop brew with solid astringency.

12oz bottle, thanks to aabean for bringing this back from her Cali trip and sharing. Bottled on 12/04/14. Clear orange color. Thin white head. Dots and ropes of lace. Caramel malt mostly, kind of biscuity. Lightly spicy. Medium body. Slick. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. OK. Malty sweet, mostly.

CacheManyHose (355) - HONG KONG - MAR 25, 2015
Clear maple-brown without much carbonation. Thin white fizzy head. Smells of musty hop, dusty attic, potpourri/preserved flowers, bit of spiced malt. Tastes of musty floral hop. Dry finish with faint pepper/spice. Body is smooth, bitter, lightly slick and peppery. Not terribly interesting but a nice hoppy floral malty aroma.
