Clear honey pour with short and brief head which leaves a dense lace. Fruity aroma with cherries and grapes leading to a light body with creeping bitterness, finishing with resinous ice tea flavour. Complex and fun, but ultimately the lack of body lets it down some. Very drinkable, but not a session beer. BREWMUSKCLES (1096), New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2010 big aroma right from the bottle. bit of a bite in the carbonation of this sudsy number. flowery, piney and grapefruit with a bit of herb still doesn’t seem to overcrowd this ipa. light malt backing to this sweet brew that i found finished with a touch of iced tea. alcohol is sneaky and the body is a little light. good overall. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 29, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Malt and Vine. Haze i.e. translucent orange/yellow appearance. Slight head that is slowly fading away. Looks like a good IPA to me. Aromatic malt and citrus hop aroma. Subtle sweet caramel malts are coming through, but the hops are dominating here. The malts seem as though they are getting stronger as the beer warms up. Still, a very hoppy aroma. Citrus hop is the dominating hop, but it is balanced by the malts that are coming through. The hop flavor(s) don’t pop out at me as I was hoping they would. A nice IPA with a great hop profile, but overall I have had better. mastabass666 (98), California, USA

Aroma- citrus, pine, hay. Taste-nice and hoppy with a complimentary sweet malt backbone. Finishes fairly quickly with some lingering bitterness. CUJO (379), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2009 RnH: cask: all the makings of a solid IPA no doubt... very skunky, aromatic bitters, some light florals and citrus available on the nose. Pours a rich amber, no head from cask. One thing I realized here... IPA’s need carbonation to help carry the flavor...coming from cask I felt as if the true qualities of the brew were held back slightly?! Nonetheless very solid, sessionable brew. mansquito (852), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Golden color, really light for IPA, with frothy head that leaves some lacing. Sugary, caramelly, hoppy that’s all in the smell. Fruity, kind of burnt taste. Pretty heavy hoppage, but no hop lingering. Little bitter. Pretty good methinks, nothing to complain about.
