650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-amber color with a medium white head that has fair retention. The aroma is rich with melons, cantaloupe and persimmons. The taste, like the aroma, is a big dose of melon, mangoes and persimmons. The malt base is pilsner-like and fairly neutral. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: The extraordinary melon character really sets this apart from other IPA’s--very good brew.

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a medium white head. A sweet tropical nose, really I’m getting watermelon here. Some medium levels of bitterness, light grain, fruit, again leaning toward tropical flavors. Easygoing.

Nice bitterness. A little flowery aroma and taste. Typical for speakeasy. Not to floral though. Citrus and pine. Dry finish. Good beer.
