4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear amber, thick white head, moderate lacing. Excellent hop floral bouquet to the nose. Delicious full hop bite, for an imperial ipa - it is very smooth and full flavored. May have found a new favorite.
-To IPA is to be.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from Bomber to a pint glass. Great looking pour, creamy head. Has the aroma you would expect from a DIPA - heavy on the pine. Nice taste upfront, crisp hops, followed to quickly by a bitter finish. The bitter lingers a bit to long on the aftertaste. Not as smooth as some of my favorite DIPAs. I really like the Big Daddy IPA so I was looking for more here. Wishin I had grabbed a Maximus instead.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Uncle Barry’s in Park Slope, before going to see Neil Young & Crazy Horse. This IPA had a very nice aroma, but turned out to have flavor that was a little harsh imo.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear amber with plenty of frothy white head. Aromas of some pine forward hops, malty bread. Taste is very dry and bitter. Not too heavy on the malts, even though its on the darker side for a IIPA. Very dry and bitter finish, almost crispy. Decent.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I had a half pint on draught. Pale amber/orange in color. Thin, creamy head and thick lacing. An aroma of piney, floral hops and chocolate malts. Fine, almost fuzzy, carbonation. Chocolate and caramel malts on front, bitter chocolate finish. Medium to full body, thick and smooth on the palate, minimal carbonation. A decadent Imperial IPA.
