4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark gold with a light head. Rich and ripe hoppy aroma with a bouquet of fresh bread. Mouth is hoppy and spicy with a light body and smooth mouthfeel. Quite bitter, not nearly as sweet as many of the double IPAs are. Quite enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Decent, but I’ve definitely had better double IPA’s. Doesn’t taste nearly as strong as it is. Could definitely use more hop flavor.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear, peach/orange hue, nice layer of fuzz above, slim, but staying...
Fresh, fruity aroma, big and bright, bursting with bitterness, grapefruit, orange, apricot, mango, and more...ripe and lively. Verrrry nice! Oily, yummy....nice.
Very tasty in the mouth, as well. Nice, bracing blast of hops, then settling back and staying mellow. Medium bodied, simple, but nicely fruity finish. Barely detectable alcoholic content...so far...
Quite a nice little IPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
As a huge fan of Big Daddy, I had to try this. As other posters have mentioned, the high ABV is not obvious in the taste. A great IPA from one of my favorite breweries. Note: I might be a lightweight but this beer "caught up" with me fairly fast after finishing, you definitely want to moderate your intake.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle (cool design!). Gold pour with a smallish head, aroma is sweet citrus, malty, floral. Nicely balanced, though on the sweet side, hops is present but seemingly not in "double" abundance. Quite smooth and drinkable, not much indication of the high ABV. I love a good IIPA, this one was very satisfying.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Courtesy of Styles via wolhfs. Aroma is very citrusy. More sweet citrus that hoppy citrus. Light hints of caramel and apricot. Pours a transparent orange with a small off-white head. Quick hints of sweet citrus, apricot, and caramel up front that is instantly taken over by a big grapefruit hop finish. Hops really linger into the aftertaste. Not enough malt balance to be considered great. A tad thin in the mouthfeel.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of piney hops that quickly turns into sweet malt of peaches, cookie dough, and caramel. Malty flavors with acidc hop flavor mixed in. Semi-dry moderately bitter finish. Warming but alcohol well hidden. Body more like an IPA than a double.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle via trade with alanC - Thanks Alan! - Pours bright amber and fairly clear with a nice rocky offhwhite head taht settles back to an 8th of an inch and laces all the way down.. Aroma is pure hop goodness. Grapefruit, pine, some lemon, and some flowers. Flavor is a pleasant blend of those beautiful pine and citrus hops combined with sweet caramel malts. Palate is mouthcoating and smooth. No sign of the 9.6% alcohol. This is quite balanced and delicious.. A nice brew.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark ruddy orange with a medium sized rocky head. Spritely citrus with some biscuity malt undertones. Citrus and floral hop flavor with some sticky malty sweetness. Resinous, piney finish. Mouthfeel is medium heavy and fairly sticky.
