Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 31, 2006 A hazy dark orange beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of apricot and alcohol, the alcohol rips in the nose. The flavor is sweet alcohol, again the alcohol rips on the palate, but it also has strong notes of apricot and quite a lot of citrus, leading to a dry hoppy grassy end. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 24, 2006 Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Grapefruity nose with notes of peach. Sweetish with bold, rounded mouthfeel. Aromawise it os rather restrained, but the bitterness is powerful. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 6, 2007 (On tap - Toronado) Ever so slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma is purely pine and grapefruit. Fairly full body with sweetish caramel malt and fruity accents of peach and citrus. Dry but not overly bitter finish. Truly a great beer. 250307 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 16, 2007 Hazy amber. Big piney, orangey hop aroma with depth of caramelly malts. The flavour shows a remarkable sense of balance - rich bitterness with just a hint of resininess, chewy malt that stays just this side of cloying, and enough bright hop notes (orange, lemon, canteloupe) to add punch. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Toronado San Diego. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Dense peachy and grapefruity hops aroma with a solid unfermented brewing cereal and malt base. Light acidic yet fruity and mild spiced finish. Dry and hoppy. Mild fruity and dense malty base flavour.
