This is my first sampling from this brand. Their IPA hits the mark. A real heavy aroma and the beer delivers - start to finish. The alcohol content is apparent and not well hid. But it’s a real nice american IPA

At the Yardhouse in VB VA. Pours a hazy gold with nice lacing. Scent is of citrus, honeydew pine. Taste is pine, orange with a hop explosion. Very good! Cheers!

Not a huge aroma coming from the glass, but a respectable amount of grapefruit, resin and other citrus accents. The glass reflects a deep orange-amber with a soft pillowy and off-white head. The lacing on the sides is sticky and tenacious. The liquid is bitter thereafter and also quite tenacious, lasting on my tongue quite a while but it’s not terribly unpleasant. I may not go out of my way to buy this again, but I wouldn’t turn it down if offered in a social setting.

Decent IIPA. Bitter to the end with an unusual aftertaste. Not bad, just not one I will be revisiting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a copper/Amber color with a nice frothy head. Aroma is caramel and citrucy piney hops. Taste follows the aroma with sone orange and grapefruit notes. Some good lingering hop bitterness on the back end. Medium mouth feel. Very good IPA.

draft at kite/key for Speakeasy event. Pours orange. very similar profile to the Big daddy with regards to aroma and flavor. I got orange and other tree bark aromas. Too bitter and big to drink consistently plus there’s much better IPAs out there these days.

Bomber. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity hop nose. A sweet fruity spicy hop flavor, bitter, oranges, some caramel. A really nice big fruity hop beast. Very smooth.

Poured a straw yellow color with slight white head nice aroma of floral hops. Well balanced on taste the hops don’t overwhelm. Refreshing with a crisp finish.

On tap. Aroma balanced between citrus hops and caramel malt. A bit dank. Taste is mellow, hops largely put in check by the malt. Body is medium plus with soft carb. Just an OK DIPA.

cloudy amber color; citrusy hop aroma; tons of citrusy hop flavor on a medium-bodied malt base; a great West coast IPA
