Not a huge aroma coming from the glass, but a respectable amount of grapefruit, resin and other citrus accents. The glass reflects a deep orange-amber with a soft pillowy and off-white head. The lacing on the sides is sticky and tenacious. The liquid is bitter thereafter and also quite tenacious, lasting on my tongue quite a while but itís not terribly unpleasant. I may not go out of my way to buy this again, but I wouldnít turn it down if offered in a social setting.

Decent IIPA. Bitter to the end with an unusual aftertaste. Not bad, just not one I will be revisiting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

draft at kite/key for Speakeasy event. Pours orange. very similar profile to the Big daddy with regards to aroma and flavor. I got orange and other tree bark aromas. Too bitter and big to drink consistently plus thereís much better IPAs out there these days.

Bomber. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity hop nose. A sweet fruity spicy hop flavor, bitter, oranges, some caramel. A really nice big fruity hop beast. Very smooth.

Poured a straw yellow color with slight white head nice aroma of floral hops. Well balanced on taste the hops donít overwhelm. Refreshing with a crisp finish.

On tap. Aroma balanced between citrus hops and caramel malt. A bit dank. Taste is mellow, hops largely put in check by the malt. Body is medium plus with soft carb. Just an OK DIPA.

cloudy amber color; citrusy hop aroma; tons of citrusy hop flavor on a medium-bodied malt base; a great West coast IPA

650ml brown bottle. Clear gold pour, fat white head and lots of clingy lacing. Nose has grapefruit and slight pine. Taste has grapefruity hops, juicy and sharp, a light fruity note sneaks in there but otherwise pretty clean in the mouth, not really finding any malts. Medium length aftertaste with good lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Overall a satisfyingly bitter Double IPA, simple and one dimensional, but thatís ok here. Would be happy to drink this anytime.
