Trev (452), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Apr 14, 2008 Poured a cloudy amber with a thin tan head. Aroma was quite vinous at first with a fruity alc backed by sweet caramel and malt and a touch of citric hop.
Boozy sweet flavour, but not overpowering, mellows into a nice smooth malty finish.

stefanje (476), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Jul 4, 2008 12 oz bottle from Bevmo. Pours a translucent amber-brown color with a beige head that left ample lacing. The aroma is big with malted barley, caramel, toffee, and biter walnuts. The flavor showed biter hops, raisins, dates and sweet barley malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and malty. The finish is long with lingering barley. Overall--a barley wine for barley wine fans. All others beware. Snojerk321 (879), San Diego, California, USA Jun 30, 2008 12oz bottle from BevMo! Mission Valley. Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, lightly-lacing, off-white head. Aroma of complex sweet caramel and some fresh citrusy hops.
