Pours a thin white head with a cloudy orange amber color. The nose is nice and floral with hints of pine and caramel. The flavor initially is nice and bitter and hits your palate really hard. but after you finish the sip the flavor dies rather quick and the finish is somewhat watery. Overall it is a good brew and has a nice bitterness that sticks for a while but the full flavor dies after you sip it.

A near perfect beer. What struck me most about this brew was the striking balance of malt and bitter flavors. It’s almost bitter and then comes back extra smooth and malty. The balanced flavor and excellent smoothness make this one of my very favorite beers. I will buy again and again.

On tap @ Jackson 20, Hotel Monaco. Pours a solid amber color with a decent white head that left nice lacing. Smells of hops with a nut undertone. Tastes of hops followed by nut and a tasty bitter note. Wonderful.

Not bad for an amber. A little thin on the tongue. Amber pour as expected. Fairly well hopped but not excessive.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slaightly hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head and good lacing. The aroma has a nice fruity hop burst that draws you in. The flavor does have some light citrus hops but not as much as the nose would indicate. There is a decent amount of caramel malt present. Finish has some light bitterness. Medium bodied and drinkable.

Pours with thick head that settles to nice lacing. Hazy amber color. Smells hoppy but taste isn’t overly hoppy. It starts bitter but smooths out during the finish. Very drinkable but nothing outstanding here.

Draught. Slightly cloudy amber pout with a thin white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of malt and spices with a really hoppy finish. Almost a fusion of an amber and American pale. Good session brew.

12 oz bottle from New Seasons - Very nice aroma. A bit malty to the taste, but has a very pleasant drinking sensation. Caramel flavor, and has more hops than Lamar Odom.
