| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Pours a thin white head with a cloudy orange amber color. The nose is nice and floral with hints of pine and caramel. The flavor initially is nice and bitter and hits your palate really hard. but after you finish the sip the flavor dies rather quick and the finish is somewhat watery. Overall it is a good brew and has a nice bitterness that sticks for a while but the full flavor dies after you sip it. tzakiel (60), Virginia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 11, 2008 A near perfect beer. What struck me most about this brew was the striking balance of malt and bitter flavors. It’s almost bitter and then comes back extra smooth and malty. The balanced flavor and excellent smoothness make this one of my very favorite beers. I will buy again and again. JohnCoyne (70), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slaightly hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head and good lacing. The aroma has a nice fruity hop burst that draws you in. The flavor does have some light citrus hops but not as much as the nose would indicate. There is a decent amount of caramel malt present. Finish has some light bitterness. Medium bodied and drinkable. Sleeper (76), Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Pours with thick head that settles to nice lacing. Hazy amber color. Smells hoppy but taste isn’t overly hoppy. It starts bitter but smooths out during the finish. Very drinkable but nothing outstanding here. kevd193213 (519), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA
