Aug 7, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Fruits, raisins, malts and hops in aroma. Flavour is strong hops, a bit of raisins and a long hoppy (flowery) aftertaste.

Aug 6, 2006 Pours a clear deep amber color with a nice initial off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is a nice balance of hops and malt. The flavor is also well balanced. Caramel malts come through nicely. Very smooth medium body beer. A pleasant suprise.

Aug 1, 2006 12oz bottle via trade with cbkschubert - Thanks Craig! - Pours dark amber with a creamy offwhite head that stays pretty well and laces a little. Aromas of light citrus hops over big caramel malts. Flavor is caramel with light citrus, a little toffee, some bread, slight bitterness on the finish but not really what I would call "aggresive" hoppiness.. Medium bodied average carbonation and fairly crisp and clean.

Jul 23, 2006 White head. Clear yellow body. Weak hops aroma - served very cold. Relatively sweet flavor, not much bitterness. Some aftertaste which I cannot figure out.

Jul 22, 2006 Draught. Clear reddish-orange color with off white head. Smelled of malty caramel and toffee accented by light flowery hops and rose hips. Flavor was similar with the addition of toasted bread or nuts and dried cherry. Dry on the tongue.

Jul 20, 2006 12oz bottle. Pours a light, clear copper color with a small dense white foamy head. Nose is caramel malty and some sticky hop notes. Palate is crisp and clean with a light bitterness, very smooth. Flavor is caramel syrupy sugar maltiness with some more of the hop flavor from the nose.

Jul 15, 2006 Bottle. Poured a dark copper color with a slightly off white head that didnt seem to stick around. Taste and smell of caramel. Not to much hop or malt stuck out, but just enough to make this a very enjoyable beer.

Jul 15, 2006 Small , tan/gray head, fair retention, lace is spotty. Clear, amber/orange hued brew. Resiny hop nose was surprising, lightly fruity, citrus and herbally. Body is medium, lightly coating on the palate. Medium sweet crystal malts, juicey hop flavors, citrus a little pine and a faint earthyness. Finish is a touch sweet and grainy. One solid Amber!
