Draft deep coppery red brown with full thick light beige head that lasts and laces throughout Aroma is sweet and malty. Taste is an interesting blend of caramel sweetness and hoppy balance. Medium carbonation and full body

12oz bottle: poured into a glass a slighty dark amber with a decent head that lasted about halfway through the beer. aroma was slighty hoppy and a bit of malt. flavor was that of a pretty good amber with a little more hops then others in this style of beer. im a big fan of IPAs and like the exrta hops a lot its not enough to be up there with and of the avg IPA but did notice a few more hops.

Tap @ SFO. Clear amber pour with an off-white head leaving moderate, coarse lacing. Malty nose with a touch of smoke. Roasty, toasty medium body with strong caramel and a bit of butter and maple. Very pleasant resinous hops on top add a bitter bite and last through the bittersweet finish. Mouth feel is on the coarse side due to the hops, but there is an oiliness to the finish. An excellent amber, scary to think this may not have been fresh!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nicely hopped amber session ale. Pretty rich orangey copper colour with a lingering head, although a slight one. Got some caramel and some hops and it was lightly creamy in the mouth. Nicely balanced with a slight bitter aftertaste - not really sure it's like an amber ale although it's worth having.

Lipton Lemon sweet tea flavor combined with a hoppy amber colored treat. I really really like this Amber!!! Matter of facts its the best I’ve had to date. Untouchable was a very good APA but Prohibition is awesome!!! Definitely a beer I will want to accumulate.

On tap at AT&T park in San Francisco. Excellent beer to sip on while watching the Dodgers smack on the Giants on their home turf. Pours a deep amber color and has a very malty flavor to it with a nice kick of hops afterwards. Good brew!

Bottle: Pours a very dark amber with a small head (at least how I poured it). Slightly bitter aroma and flavor. Nice palate for an amber. Another nice beer from the folks at Speakeasy.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from a bottle. Pours a unique aroma, beautiful dark amber color, and a large frothy head. I agree with the "caramel maltiness" description. An unusual tasting beer

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Big, big beer. Takes the normally passive amber ale style to a whole new level. The caramel flavors have a burnt, smokey character that is unique and surprisingly addictive. The hops kick in before the malt gets at all cloying, and balance it all out. At first I thought this beer was nothing to their Big Daddy IPA, but this one is starting to REALLY grow on me. Second only to Mac and Jack’s in the amber style.

Light amber body, very little head. Smells like a lite lemon beer. Very light lemon hinted flavor that almost tastes watered down. Not too hoppy. A fairly good beer, but nothing special. The label said something about caramel flavors. I didn't notice them at first, but i did after i thought about it on the next sip.
