This is a pretty standard issue pale ale (not that that’s a bad thing) with floral hops and a fairly strong mineral presence in the nose. There is a good balance of sweetness and bitterness but the bitterness in the finish is too strongly of the grassy/earthy variety for my tastes. This drinks pretty good but is just very average in general w/ the hops being a bit too muted for the style.

355ml bottle. Milky, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, lemon drop, candied orange zest, a minimally artifical touch of jelly bears. Taste is bitter hoppy, tropical fruity, a sweet-ish nucleus of pineapple is surrounded by mango, passion fruit and papaya. Decent.

A thouroughly pleasant APA with loads of tropical aromas and taste- sweet, ripe pineapple, coconut, pina colada, canned tangerines, with a nice bitterness balancing it out. Supernice and easy drinking.

Small yellowish head over big-bubbled clear metallic orange beer. Piney, bit fruity nose, rainwater, very demure. Bit oxydized malts, old grape aroma (no sweetness), bit of caramel. Metallic-bitterish, chalk. Despite the tired impression, reasonably carbonated, finish even livelier; bit slick. Bottle apparently (prematurely) aged.

Bottle 12 fl.oz from Bier-Bienne (CH). It smell good tropical fruits with a point of caramel. The taste is slight, quenching, malted and hopped, without complications. Floral notes, texture a little chalky, touches of pear and pineapple on tropical fruits. Simple but very good.

Nice looks. Good hop mix, smooth, fairly juicy, some cookie and amber malt backup. Decent stuff. Juicy soft bitterness, very drinkable. Nice beer, simple but certainly not boring! (33cl bottle from SpeciaalBierPakket Leiden)

19/I/16 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: V/6/15 (2016-50) Thanks to Tim DB for picking this one up for me!

Clear deep blond to orange beer, big solid off-white to yellow head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, caramel, some honey, spicy touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: rather sweet start, malty, grains, caramel, bit fruity. Aftertaste: pretty fruity finish, pineapple, bit sweet, malts, honey, soft bitterness. Probably (way) better when fresh.

I really like the hop profile here, but the abundance of biscuit malt gets in the way a little. Otherwise fruity and a little dank for a lighter beer. OK overall.

Bottle at home. Aroma is mild tropical fruits, biscuit malt, floral hops, grapefruit, light herbal. Flavour is lightly sweetish and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Aroma ends a bit abruptly. Otherwise easy enjoyable Pale.
