This is a pretty standard issue pale ale (not that that’s a bad thing) with floral hops and a fairly strong mineral presence in the nose. There is a good balance of sweetness and bitterness but the bitterness in the finish is too strongly of the grassy/earthy variety for my tastes. This drinks pretty good but is just very average in general w/ the hops being a bit too muted for the style.

I really like the hop profile here, but the abundance of biscuit malt gets in the way a little. Otherwise fruity and a little dank for a lighter beer. OK overall.

12 ounce bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Very hazy orange golden with a white fluffy head. Plenty of sticky lacing. A cool looking beer. Tropical fruit and leather in the aroma. That is tasted. Pineapple, in particular. Soft floral notes. Very soft malts but that only lets the hops shine more. It is fairly dry. Being a fan of tropical fruit flavors in a beer I like this. I do wish it were more complex but those hops were tasty!

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has sweet citrus fruits and some sweet malts. Taste isn’t too intense, just a slight hoppy bitterness. Light body, slightly acidic with a good amount of carbonation. Nothing really special.

Heldere gouden kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, citrus, pilsachtig. Smaakt bitter, kruidig, beetje dun.

Bottle @ home. CLear golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is moderately malty with a nice amount of fruit hops and slightly floral hops. Taste is light to moderately malty, again nice fruit and floral hops, although after a while the fruit hops fade a little and some spicy, lightly herbal and floral hops become more dominant. Moderately bitter, ok body, medium carbonation. Decent.

12 oz bottle about 10 weeks old. It pours a light orange color with an off white head. The aroma has strong notes of orange, pine, hop spice and a hint of sweet toffee. The flavor is the same. Orange, pine, spicy hops. Hint of oxidation and strong piney bitterness. A little too bitter. Just ok.
