Standing face to face, an enduring rivalry reaches the breaking point.

Vendetta IPA is the taste of sweet revenge. Aggressively bitter with a cutthroat convergence of citrus and aromatic hops, Vendetta won’t soon be forgotten.

As the next in our Bootlegger Limited Series, we’re releasing an IPA with a vengeance. Legit since 1997, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers operates in the San Francisco district once known as Butchertown.

Nicely constructed IPA. Pours a lovely rich golden colour and the sweetness is nicely balanced with the hops which linger nicely on the palate. Very drinkable.

Draft at Kite and Key with Bill, pours oily orange with medium to thicker mouth. Notes are aggressive and bitter hops. Finishes a tad bit sweet but still pretty solid.

Pours a clear rust orange. Has a strong floral hop aroma. Taste is very floral with light hops and grains. A light dry aftertaste but not overwhelmingly bitter.

Bottle from Safeway Petaluma. Ok/good aroma. Citrus, pine. Tad medicinal, clean bronze orange color good headand lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, thick creamy oily mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Well. It’s ok in the scheme of things. But combines some aromas and flavor sim not a fan of. Grapefruit and pine don’t do it for me these days.... Looks good, feels good, it’s aroma andnfl or that i don’t like.

I've always avoided hoppy beers. I gravitate towards more balanced ones. This is a hoppy beer nicely balanced with sweetness. No bitter aftertaste. Not the one and you're done death by hops beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught from standings. Deep ambwe with sticky white head. Light citrus and soil smell. Malts, some grapefruit, phenols. Not that impressive.

Draft in San Fransisco June 2013. Pours a clear orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have citrus, grapefruit, some resiny hops with caramel malts and mild to moderate bitterness. Decent enough.

Very pleased with this IPA. Amidst the endless selection of IPA’s this one stands tall. A well brewed beer with solid malt base to support the bold hop presence. IPA’s are a dime a dozen & are hard to tell apart; vendetta is a west coaster.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 22 oz Bomber. The beer pours to a slightly cloudy copper color with a small head. The aroma has strong citrus & grapefruit scents to it. The taste is light in body with a crisp bitter finish. Overall a very good IPA.

Dark orange with white head. Grapefruit and bubblegum aroma. Bitter. Taste is hoppy and bitter. Basement musty almost. Still pretty good but was expecting more . Poured from draft at Haymarket Brewey in Chicago.
