surprised this beer is rated so low, it is a great wheat beer. wonderful smell of citrus and spice. very drinkable. bottle from ledger’s liquors berkeley.

Bottle from Pizza Port in Carlsbad. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing. Lemony aroma with notes of wheat and spice. Light body with a citrusy character and flavors of mild honey, spice and malt. The finish is clean and sweet with a wheaty aftertaste. Despite being on the thin side, it still manages to be somewhat tasty and refreshing.

Pours bright gold into a tumbler. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Mild wheat aromas. Crisp with wheat from front to back.

Bottle. Poured pale yellow gold with thin white head. Faint aroma of citrus. Thin slim bready flavour with a bit of lemon. Tiny bit more lemon and a little hoppiness in the finish. There are many better wheat ales out there.

This clear yellow beer poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor, what little there is, is sweet with virtually no hoppiness.

Bottle shared with JasonP on 08/03/2008. Very clear golden body with a fizzy off-white head. Wheat, light grain and malt aroma. Sweet wheat flavor with some honey and vanilla. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

This is an example of why it isn’t always good to rate a beer on a small sample. First taste was good, fruity. Then it becomes way too wheaty and almost impossible to drink. Not good.

12oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small fizzy white head. Nose was citrus and yeast while the flavor carried much the same with an extra sweetness. A good wheat beer overall.
