Introducing the Hawaiian Style Pale Ale™ Aloha from Hawaii! As the name suggests, this bold, hoppy West Coast pale ale is brewed Hawaiian style—with pineapple. We stopped at nothing to create this perfectly "imbalanced" and supremely delicious pale ale. The Hawaiian Style Pale Ale is naturally carbonated, unfiltered and dry-hopped to provide a delicate carbonation and complex flavour and bouquet. Hints of caramel, honey and biscuit give way to notes of fresh citrus, zest and pine and a refreshingly tropical finish. Serving Suggestion The Hawaiian Style Pale Ale should be served cool (5-10°C) from a tulip style glass. Food Pairings Hawaiian Style Pale Ale’s citrusy, fresh character makes it a versatile beer for food pairings. Enjoy a glass with spicy Indian and South-East Asian dishes. Pair with hearty pub fare and allow its zesty hoppiness to refresh your palate. Indulge in rich, creamy cheeses, some decadent chocolate or a thick slice of cheesecake to bring out the beer’s caramel and tropical sweetness. On its own it is dry, refreshing and perfectly quenching. Ingredients •Malts: Pale Malt, Caramel 10, Caramel 45, Light Munich, Caramel Malt-Pils •Hops: Cascade, Centennial, Northern Brewer •Yeast: California Ale •Additional: pineapple juice •Water: pure water

One of the most refreshing and tasty pale ales out there. I strongly recommend this brew

0.5 draft. Delicately hazy, light brown color abd a small, off-white head. Aroma of hops, pines, flowers. Taste is rather hoppy, floral, a tad bready too. Medium body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is sweeter, more balanced, seems more consummate. Overall not a bad beer but it did not strike me as particularly awesome.

Bottled. Nice beer! I don’t get why they had to add pineapple, as I’ve had other IPAs that are way more fruity than this. It has a mellow aroma but a sparkle of flavors. Not too full, but the finish grows on you!

Smells malty and fruity but the flavour is much more robust, with juicy citrus and pineapple most pronounced. Bitter and summery at the same time. Nice.

Dark, brown, thick foamy head. Smells like pineapples and dry cascade hops but not too obviously fruity or bitter. The taste is bitter at first followed by citrus and then pineapple sweetness. A sessionable dark ale, easy to appreciate and enjoy.

Draught @ Stout Irish Pub, Toronto. Pours slightly hazy amber with small white head, Clear aroma of malt and hops, with fruity and estery touches and citric hints. Bitter, hoppy flavour with estery notes and touches of malt and fruit, possibly orange peel as well. Mild, estery and slightly fruity aftertaste. Low carbonation. Refreshing and agreeable but not top-notch.

Pours a pale amber with a foamy white head, very pleasing to the eye. Some pine, citrus, and pineapple on the nose. Very light bodied ale, very refreshing. Taste is very interesing, nice amount of bitterness from the hops to play alongside the tropical pineapple flavor. Made me think it was summer for a moment!

355ml bottle from the LCBO. Hazy gold body which is subtlety tinted brown. Pineapple, pine, grapefruit on the nose. It is also malty with some caramel coming through a little bit. A nice dryness on the palate, however it doesn’t take away from the overall sessionable quality of this beer. Quite hoppy, medium to elevated perceived bitterness that finishes long with some grapefruit zest, predominantly. Some floral qualities as well.

My Bottom Line:
Silky tropical fruit dominate this smooth New World Pale Ale, ending up in earthy hop resins and their just bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the misty amber.
-Malts offer but light caramel, without much definition.
-Drinkability is quite high.
-This is well-made, but it lacks depth and subtleties.

On tap at The Black Tomato.

Poured a hazy amber with fun yeasty swirls floating around and had a big frothy off white head, very good lacing on this brew. Aroma was of pineapple, tropical hops and pine. Tastes of sugar, pine, and the pineapple hits you at the end. Had a light body with a refreshing amount of bitterness at the end.
