4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A little short on aroma. However, a great looking beer with a delicious blend of date/ raisin and cinnamon resulting in a almost hazelnut flavor.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear rusty brown pour with a thin head that faded quickly. Raisin and nut scent. Sweet. The brew master called it butter tarts in a glass. I wouldn’t go that far. It does have the spice and the raisin but still has some strong beer qualities that me,ow it out. Rally like this. Very well balanced.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a murky brown with a very small head. Aroma has notes of figs, nuts, plums, raisins, and spice. Tasting notes include figs, nuts, plums, sweet malts. This beer tastes more like a bock than an ale! Excellent!!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
17OC12. Part of a pint shared by Luc at Loon. Hazy deep brown-copper with a small off-white head. Beautiful, rich, sweet, unctuous malts, faint cinnamon spiciness, deep toasty notes, some fruitiness, so rich and inviting, maybe some vanilla, beautiful. Medium+ body, moderate, fine effervescence. Tons of rich brown sugar, caramel, treacle, fruitiness, a touch of alcohol (appropriate), a little spicy, so nice; basically dry with mild bitterness and a full, richly malty and lightly fruity/toasty finish. Gorgeous

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught At Session 99, June 23. Pours dark brown with an average size beige head. Slightly mild but nice aroma of dark malt, dark fruit and some light vinous notes (?). Very nice malty flavour along with some chocolate, nuts, dark fruit and a light but pleasant bitter finish. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. I’m not much of a fan of Brown Ales but this is a solid, really good version of the style.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really like this. On tap at beer bros. pours muddy brown with minimal head and lots of lacing. Nose is fig and dark fruit with a hint of molasses. Aromas are same with some extra nutty notes. Taste is light sweet. Mouth is pretty light, much less body than I’d like, but makes it an easy drinker. Low ish carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught. Pours deep brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of strawberry, fig, dried fruits, and some toffee. Taste is fairly sweet, with dried fruit and roasty malt predominating. Nice and clean on the palate, not too syrupy. Slight herbal-spicy hop finish. Interesting beer and definitely unique.
