3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Botte. Pours a clear golden beer with a stable clear white head on top. Aroma is grainy, light vanilla and peachy as well. Flavor is sweet and yeasty, light subtleness and little German influences here. Not too interesting though.

Small sample from bottle at Camping Ratebeer ’14. Pours hazy orange with a small to medium white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some yeast. Taste is malty and sweet with a quite high carbo. Medium body.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
sample courtesy of a friend.
Thin creamy white head. Cloudy blond pour. It’s not as good as the German versions. Still fairly good but it misses something.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Blonde dorée claire, effervescence moyenne, col blanc crémeux. Les malts pils s’imposent avec une petite amertume légèrement épicée, un peu de caramel, un rien fruitée bananes, pelures d’oranges, on cherche encore le "smoky touch"!

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
75cl bottle bb09/2014 shared @Tristate Tasting II, Freiburg. Looks fair enough...Only: how is a German (or any) yeast profile solely supposed to impart a smokey touch? - maybe some burnt TV plastic, at best. Flavour base is the same accidented ride as the others in the series: laden pale malts with some almond butter and floral hops with some citrus. Someone had a blasting vision with this series and now its backfire is a drainpour.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium sized white foamy head on top of a hazy orange colored beer.
Aromas of yeast, light fruit, some glue tones, grains, paper, some cardboard and wheat.
Flavours of yeast, malts, grains, light oat, light fruity, some cardboard, wheat, light bitter, light sweet wood and some grains.
Aftertaste is a mix of yeast, light botter, herbs, cardboard and some grains.
Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, low to medium bodied and a watery texture.
Boring but not terribly bad.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
shared@2nd D/F/CH TriStateTasting, courtesy of bartlebier, thank you! Couldn’t detect the smokey touch, instead: aroma of Grapefruit/Orange rind, esp. the white parts; grainy, sour, rhye bread taste, with hints of bran and some almost plastic-like notes.

Bottle 75cl @2ndTSRG, a copper beer with good head. Nose is still on brett touch. Aroma is astringent with orange peel notes, grassy notes, where is the smoked part ? Finish is lactic.
