(bottle, 75cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized frothy head. Yeasty, slightly sweet and sour fruity, grainy malty aroma with a tinge of lemon zests. Moderately bitter flavour with notes of acidity; light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. A bit slim malt profile with yeasty and citrus-fruity notes and a very mild spicy touch; slightly grainy and sour-fruity finish. Refreshing and quaffable brew. 05.I.11

Bouteille (kindly delivered by Q.D.!): Golden, cloudy, firm creamy off-white head, visible carbonation; fresh grainy and lemony-zesty nose; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; sourish-yeasty finish with a sweet-malty counterpart plus a zesty aftertaste. Surprise, surprise....

bottle from Auchan Illkirch. Hazy-cloudy pale yellow, large white head. Floral-hoppy-fruity nose. Light-bodied, solid malty base, hints of citrus fruit. spicy touch. Smooth carbonatioon, not over-carbonated. Very well balanced, one of the best examples of the style I have tasted.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Blonde, cloudy, dense head. Citrus and apple in the aroma and flavor. Slightly yeasty with some grassy notes. Very refreshing, yet thin and a bit alcoholic.

Bottle 50cl. A cloudy yellow beer with medium head. Smell is on malt and yeast. Aroma is very malty, sweet, with a nice malty finish, notes of cereal, nice hopy finish quite round beer. Very drinkable, one of the best low blond beer I’ve tested so far, nice oily palate.
