Kiwi_Jonno (52), Christchurch, New Zealand Sep 30, 2008 On Tap Speights Ale House. Dark amber/brown beer with a small white head. Sweet beer thats malt dominating with traces of caramel. Not much in the way of bitterness, I think they said 17 IBU’s. Has the characteristic Speights Signiture to it with their ale yeast. oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Aug 6, 2008 Draught. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is vegetables, malts and grass. Flavour is quite much the sam. Not very exciting. KimJohansen (4285), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 4, 2008 Cleard reddish amber with tiny off white short lasting head. Sweet malty aroma with fruity and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with caramel and malty notes. Ends sweet. Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England May 12, 2008 A Mes rate: Tap at the Speights bar in Temple.Amber brown with a thin white-ish head. Lots of tobacco and caramel malt in the aroma with some slight hops and sweetness. Tangy malt flavour with just a snippet of hops and some tobacco. Caramel malt finish with some late bitterness. Ok I guess.
