Commercial Description:
Fireside Ale tastes like the essence of all the good things winter has to offer. It's rich silky malt flavours mold together to create a warming winter ale to be enjoyed over the darker months. From its red Autumnal colour flows a fruity aroma reminiscent of baked apples and sweet toffee. On tasting the fruit notes are surpassed by caramelised malt flavours and a smooth in mouth feel. Fireside Ale is a substantial drop to be enjoyed over the winter months in the warmth of this Alehouse.

Bronz in colour with thick creamy off white head. Honey and malt aroma. Zingy spritz tonuge but dry finish. From the same Lion family so is similar to Macs Log Burner.

Pint @ Speights - Tower Junction ChCh. Bronze / brown colour with a nice head which slides down the side of the glass. Warm sweet bread aroma. Malt base on the sweeter side with warmish alcohol notes reasonable oily bitterness but sweetly intriguing to want another mouthful. A touch short - perhaps best described as a poor mans Emersons95. Overall not a bad drop.
