On tap, Speights Ale House FerryMead. Black beer with red streak to it. Nice strong aroma. Tastes like a beer from a speights Brewery. Quite a full bodied beer. Roasted malt and quite bitter. Not my favourite porter though.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with an off-white head and fair lacings. Lightly sweet and bitter with a hint of salt. Malty aromas of toffee and toasted malts a hint of peat too. Medium to full bodied with a softish carbonation. Bitter finish.

Draught@Speights Ale House, Dunedin, New Zealand. Strong coloured black beer with a gently roasted aroma, and a bitter, roasted and coffee flavour. Overall an average porter.

(On tap) Opaque black with a beige head. Sweet aroma of hard roasted malts and licorice. Medium-bodied, sweetish burned malt accents and some licorice. Dry but not overly bitter finish. 250108

I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon.
Chocolate, sweet, malty, hoppy flavor and aroma. Nice!
