1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2014 On a menu as "Summer Lager". This is probably the closest thing to American Light Lager that can be found in New Zealand. Bud Light roughness, sweetness and sourness, a bounty of carrot and turnip DMS and sharp burnt corn kernels and a lingering sugar syrup / saccharine film. This is some foul adjunct bullshit right here.

Pretty light and boring, virtually no hop presence at all. Makes for a good quaffing beer in the sun. Little no no malt flavour.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The head is medium. It smells sweet malty, just a bit fruity. The taste is malty, sweet, boring, fruity, citrus. Boring. 10/7/7/7/11/8

Bland swilling beer that is not too offensive. Very little happening here. Would question the "premium" lager as a style.

Piwo w kolorze przypomina racsej amber niz gold. No ale niewazne. Piana srednia i nawet puszysta. Wytrawne i nieco karmelowe. Dosc wyrazny smak toffi. Jesli jest to lager to jakby nieco uszlachetniony. Mi pasowalo.

"Our first lager brewed with only natural ingredients". For flavour’s sake, bring back the un-natural, stat! Just kidding. This is the best this kind of brewer can hope for: utter lowest common denominator clean fault-free inoffensive blandness. Unfortunately, they will be well rewarded for their lack of passion.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml can fom The Beer Cellar. Super pale and clear with a big white head. Grain and wet straw aromas found in most pale lagers. Medium bodied with a musty spunky flavour with the faintest hint of straw in the background. Certainly nothing to get excited about.

On tap at Auckland Airport. Pours a golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is light malt and some straw. Taste is light sweet leading to a dry-ish finish with next to no bitterness. M’eh.
