Bottle 330ml. @ ChrisO Snow Tasting.

Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, cabbage water, brown sugar, cardboard, paper. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, brown sugar, cardboard. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130120]

Really mashy dark roasty, very full, in the aroma. Sweet of course, but you expect that. Alas in the mouth it’s horribly sweet, and basically just plain sugary. Looked good though - dark and with a nice beige head, albeit brief.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to Leighton. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is brown sugar, fart, cardboard and earth. The taste is very sweet indeed….sugar, caramel, cola then some wood and earth with a sweet finish. Thin body and soft carbonation. Pretty nasty. Thanks again Leighton….!

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Leighton (didn’t even need to refer to notes to suss that one!), 20/01/13. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a light tan head that clears to the edge as bubbles leaving a film in the centre. It looks good - can only go one way form here tho’ !!! Nose is malt, brown rye bread, burnt cake mix. Taste is sweet sugars, rye, cake mix, brown sugars, sweet, did I mention sugars and sweet ? Light to medium in body, soft carbonation, sweet in the slightly dry finish. Meh !

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - one of the beverages I brought. Pours clear, red-brown with a filmy cream head. Sugary cardboard aroma, some caramel. Huge sweet flavor with paper, brown bread, toffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish with notes of brown sugar and bread. Not great.

Bottle. Sweet Malzbier aroma. Hazy chestnut offwhite creamy head Sweet malt sugar, light metallic roast. Light body, sticky sweet but with a dry caramel finish. Well it’s nourishing I guess.

Bottle. Pours coke-brown with a off white head. Malt and unfinished yeast in aroma. Chocolate, something a bit dry and lots of sugar in taste. Too carbonated.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2012 På flaske fra MaxiMat på Sinesund. Mørk væske med en beige topp. Tykk søtlig vørter aroma. Søt vørtersmak med noe kullsyre.

33cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a small brown head. Smells slight caramell malty. Tastes very sweet roasted malt with a similar finish.
