UPDATED: DEC 8, 2010 (Can 0,5l) Light hops, caramel, weak aroma. Brown-red color. Minimal white head. Medium sweet, light sour, caramely taste. Light fizzy. Light bodied to 5.3 ABV. Light astringent finish. (In 2009 seemed to be better than in 2010. But maybe, I get used to better beers:) )

Maybe the mistake I did was to buy this 50cl can in IKEA, I wanted to try it and I should have just kept buying furniture there. Pours brownish with no foam no head almost flat. Aroma is quite metal and a bit sweet. The flavors, well what flavors, its really very terrible. I had one sip and my gosh its wost than a flat coke, then its appearance looks really like a coke. Its even wrost than the worst soda, its not really drinkable. I had a second sip to make sure and it did not help so it was DOWN THE DRAIN!! Is 0.5 the lowest this can go?

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium yellow red brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to ligt beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, nutty, brown suager. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration and a nice balance. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081121]

DruncanVeasey (7445) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2009
Can, New Year’s Eve. Ruby with white lid, specks of lace. Soap, caramel, cooked malts, possibly faint English hop aroma. Crunch of locust bean. Gentle berry fruit, soapdish, wax, caramel, biscuit. Bit of shampoo bitterness. Polite, competent, dull. Something like a tinned Czech dark. No glaring off-notes. Splash of pasteurised Shep Neame. OK I suppose.

Big yellow-beige coarseish head. Barely translucent dark red body with carbonation. Fruity roasty buttery aroma, kind of weak, with chocolatey papery notes. Dry-sweetish roasty buttery wild berry taste kind of clashes with itself, and with the dry roasty papery cinnamon aftertaste that follows. Some raisins and coke, too. Mid-to-full body. Decent, in a way, but didn’t enjoy that much. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Mahogany with a huge deep beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints chocolate. Sweet flavour with burned caramel and roasted malt. Finished sweet. A bit to sweet.

Canned. A big airy, lightly tanned head upon a clear brownish red colored body. Clean, nutty caramel aroma with sugary notes. Sweet , burned sugary malt flavor. Not sticky, quite crisp actually. But there is almost no bitterness to deal with it, only a touch of acidulous fruits. Well-bodied. Slick mouthfeel. Sweet finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a fluffy tan head. Light mouldy aroma yet with a distinct note of spice and mild roasted caramel malt. Sweet and hardroasted breadish malt flavour. Holds a light bitterness and mild roasted acidic touch. Ends with a light chocolate smoothness and mild roasted touch.
