Crafted in our brutal brewing workshop. The Kustom Lageris a smooth, no-nonsense brew. It’s dry hopped with cascade and amarillo hops to offer a spicy citrus edge. Plus it’s organic, and it glows in the dark. Need we say more?

Copenhagen 9/10 2015. 33 cl can brought home from Malmö by my girlfriend. Very fine can with flaming skull and declarations that this is a no nonsense beer. Pours clear light yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam with lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is slightly fruity with notes of citrus. Very nice but quite subdued. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Taste follows the nose with a little frutiness and very light bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice pilsner in a fine packaging although too timid for it's own good.

Bottle. Pours clear and golden with small white head. Aroma of malt, some citrus and wet cardboard. In tast every similar, malty sweet with low herbal bitterness. Medium to low body, high carbonation. Ordinary lager.

can@ Vineyards in Ottawa. Deep brassy gold, white head that recedes quickly. Corny grains, light metal. Ugh.

33ml can you get for free when you play ArcTanGent festival. Better than Carling.

(Can) Slightly hazy golden yellow with small white head. Aroma isn’t unpleasant, but it isn’t particularly pleasant either - wet cardboard and metallic hints. Light body with good carbonation. The best thing I can say about the taste is that it isn’t bland. There’s some odd flavours that don’t quite work for me - bread, cough medicine, cardboard. It was everything I expected from the artwork on the can...

Can shared by a friend. I was surprised at how good this was and how hoppy it was. I know next to nothing about the Swedish beer scene, but I wasn’t expecting much from this beer. Turns out I was mistaken. This is a very competent lager and the use of Amarillo hops is very nice. This is crisp and clean with a solid pilsner malt profile. Suggestions of lemon candies, grass and citrus fruits come through. The body is clear and head retention is great. I would definitely repeat drink this if I could. This is a well crafted lager and again, the hop choice is great. It’s eyebrow-raising to see a pitiful score of 17 on the site.

Cool can. Pleasant lager. Not bland, but not tremendously strong. Almost corn like flavors but it gives the malt some heft. Hoppiness is very subtle.

Can(s) 330 ml. Some cans pour totally clear while some have a light haze. This is a lager one notch above the mass produced huge-volume beers and it suits well with various food. But it is not a beer for when you want a great experience.

Can. Plain gold pour. Mild hops, some crispness. Pretty much exactly what you’d hope for in a lager. Not outstanding, but refreshing and maintains its beer-like credentials.

Bottle 33cl. A clear golden colour with a small white head. An aroma of grass, spices, fruit and flowers. The taste is medium sweet and medium bitter.
