3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Bierbörse Osterode. Deep golden in the glass, light brownish, small head. Mild-smokey aroma. Starts mild malty, modest roasty-smokey, not too intense. Finish still mild, modest smokey, hints of cookies. Some notes of caramel. Not bad!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle direct from Bamberg. I’ve only recently turned the smoked beer corner, however drinking this I realized that I prefer a lighter smoked beer. With this one and the Schlenkerla Marzen you get a palatable dose of smoked malt. I prefer the smoked Weizen personally. A filling beer, that couples great with pork chops. Thanks Lajos!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled 0,50L. Limpid and a little fraught red color, discreet bubbly presence and very good foamy and creamy head resistance. Poor malty aroma with a decided and remark smokey smell. Notes of booze and smoked resin and cortex, much wooden. Medium prickly taste, good alcoholic body with a mighty smooked notes, ash, and arid long final. Very agreeable beer.
