3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at The Pony Bar UES, NYC. Pours hazy gold with a stingy, creamy white head. Aroma holds a good bit of dried citrus, lemon, spices, pine needles. Big sweet flavor, rich and semi-ripe citrus, spices, ginger, pale malts and bread. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with decent piney resins, further spices, flowers, sugar, salt, lemon and orange, grapefruit. Pretty ballsy stuff through and through.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent but big DIPA that is a bit too hot to handle. Pours a bright coppery gold colour with a thick, sticky off white head. Aroma is resinous and sticky with heavy citrus, pine and grapefruit. Light malts with caramel sweetness, toasted grain notes and a bit of spice. Well balanced hop to malts but big and boozy with heavy bitterness, lingering into the aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and tropical fruit with some citrus and pine. Taste is a piney and citrus hop bitterness with a tropical fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation that appeals the palate. Overall, a solid DIPA that is both balanced and tasty.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle I picked up at Superstar Beverage. Pours a hazy orange with some foamy, slightly off white head. Nose has an old school take, lots of C hops, lemon, grapefruit, lots of sticky pine, some sticky honey lurking. Flavor follows right along, lots of pine, lots of lemon, some grapefruit, some soap, a little candy. Full bodied, bitter finish. Old school DIPA.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer is absolutely delicious! It has a burnt butterscotch aroma that is fantastic. No hoppy smell at all. It tastes great without the typical real hoppy IPA grapefruity flavor. It's a rich full bodied dark flavor. I love it!
