On tap poured black with small tab head that dissipated quickly. The bourbon is present in the aroma along with vanilla dark fruits and molasses. Bourbon nice in the taste not too over powering still allowing the other flavors to come through. Very thick body overall great beer my first from this brewery will be trying more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tap at spider bite 1st anniversary Tap & Barrel - tasty, delicious, bravissimo! Huge oaky nose, molasses and chocolate with plenty of dark roasted malts. Thick, syrupy, smooth body. Packed with dark fruits and piney hops and an aura of bourbon and oak that imparts a certain majesty. Finishes with an imperceptible alcohol and warming glow.
