Looks pretty. Light coppery-yellow with a small lilly pad spotted white head. Aroma is a little light, mainly hops. Flavor is quite rye and piney hops and citrus. All the components are there and it is a good to very good beer but it doesn’t quite come together completely cohesively. A touch watery, a little disjointed and bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2014 Growler - lightly hazy gold - clean, crisp, well-executed IPA, with a great balance of lightly toasty rye, floral hops, bitterness, honey sweetness - nice texture, prickly mouthfeemayes lot of juicy citric hop flavors and just enough rye to give it some heft and additional depth - easy-drinking, and pleasant.

Pours clearer golden with a white head. Aroma brings crisp wheat like sweet malts, a subtle pleasant floral hop profile. The flavor brings sweet hops and slightly sryupy malts, but a clean smoother body. The end is a delicate bittersweet hop as well, nice.

Tap at Rattle. Pours cloudy orange with nose of rye and spice. Tastes of over the top rye, plenty of pepper, some basement, leaves, pine, light caramel, and hint of alcohol. pretty tasty and interesting brew especially for rye lovers

Growler during RBWG 2013. Golden amber pour with a nice off-white head. Nice bolt of citrus and hoppiness on top of a nice malt backing with some rye spice, honey, and doughiness. Tasty flavor that follows suit. This brewery lifts.

Growler from RBWG .. . Pours out a light copper .. Medium foam .. . Quite dry .. . Honey and rye mostly, solid bitterness .. . Very drying beer actually .. . . Hunters will tell you that a moose is a wily and ferocious forest creature. Nonsense. A moose is a cow drawn by a three-year-old.

Growler shared at RBWG! Pours a hazy golden orange with little to no head or lacing. Aroma of rye spice, nice piney and floral hops notes, and a faint pale malt. The taste follows, a nice bitter finish with a quick spicy rye bite. Pretty solid stuff, this brewery is doing work.
